Benazir Bhutto was shot in the neck and chest and killed as she got into her vehicle to leave the political rally in Rawalpindand where she addressed thousands of supporters in her campaign for Jan. 8 parliamentary elections.

The attacker detonated a suicide bomb and blew himself up.

Twenty others were also believed killed in the attack.
