1995 The US-brokered Dayton Peace Agreement ended the war and split Bosnia between Serb and the Bosnian Muslim/Croatian confederation.
1941 / 1945 Hajj Amin El Husseini resided in Berlin as a welcome guest of the Nazis throughout the years of the Holocaust.

Hajj Amin El Husseini directed the Muslim SS divisions in the Balkans and was personally responsible for blocking negotiations late in the war that might have saved thousands of Jewish children from the gas chambers.
